Brown Sugar Maple Syrup Biscuit Bake

So this was a pinterest find, located here, labeled as "Christmas morning". They will not be reserved just for Christmas around here! I used 1 package of biscuits instead of 2 and a cake pan rather than a bundt pan. I used up all my light brown sugar making Christmas cookies, so I opted for dark brown instead.

They came out amazing! Next time I'm going to try adding honey.

Brown Sugar Maple Syrup Biscuit Bake Recipe


1 package of Grands! Biscuits
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon


Melt butter then mix with maple syrup. In separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Pour half of syrup into pan then pour cinnamon mixture over and stir. Lay out biscuits in circle overlapping each other. Pour remaining syrup and sugar mixtures on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until brown. I suggest spooning the sugar mixture from the center over the bread halfway through cooking.
